The Kvarner Tourist Board prepared a presentation for Slovenian journalists and partners in Ljubljana, in cooperation with the Slovenian specialized magazine “Dober tek”.Namely, as they point out from the Kvarner Tourist Board, right now is the opportunity to thank Slovenian journalists and partners, as well as tourists, for the fantastic numbers in tourist traffic from the Slovenian market in 2017, when almost 9 million Slovenian overnight stays were realized in 4,5 months. guests, which means 5% more compared to the same period in 2016. In the total number of overnight stays in Kvarner, Slovenian guests account for more than 18%, and in the entire Kvarner region there was an increase of 9%, both in overnight stays and in the number of guest arrivals.The topic of socializing with journalists and partners in Ljubljana was the presentation of news in Kvarner with top gastronomy from Kvarner, presented by chefs Igor Eržen and Dražen Lesica from the famous restaurant Rivica from Njivice on the island of Krk, and chef Dalibor Perinčić and sommelier Mario Mahulja from winemakers and restaurant-tavern Gospoja from Vrbnik. They brought the flavors and aromas of the sea and the Vrbnik žlahtina to Ljubljana, and the space was filled with the sounds of klapa songs. On that occasion, programs and attractions in the autumn-winter period were announced for Slovenian guests, from Marunada, Chocolate Festival, RI Gastro Week of Cod and Chocolate, Cod Day in Njivice, Olive Day in Punat, to Jazz Ex Tempora in Opatija, as well as numerous other manifestations.The presentation aroused great interest from journalists and partners from the Kvarner Tourist Board, and will be followed by publications on social networks, in newspapers where the thematic magazine DOBER TEK, specializing in gastronomy, will publish a report, and on Slovenian TV. On the occasion of the presentation, a short promotional film of the Kvarner Tourist Board on the topic of gastronomy was made.
