Two SAL boys teams play tonight

The Wildcats are paced by John Howard-Holcombe, Robert and Darnell Ferguson. Also in D2AA, Miller is at St. Bernard. The Rebels are paced by Zach Von Pertz. All basketball playoff games are at 7:30 p.m., unless the schools have made other arrangements. In D2A, Granite Hills is at Corona. Also, West Valley is at Serrano in D3A. Serrano is led by University of Penn-bound guard Harrison Gaines and center Durrell Norman. Another county D3A team hosting a playoff game is Sultana, which will entertain Perris. Sultana is coached by former San Bernardino coach Werner von der Heide. A pair of San Andreas League boys basketball teams heads the list of county playoff teams in action tonight. SAL champion Arroyo Valley, led by center Joseph Richard and forward James Simmons, will play host to Chaparral in a CIF-Southern Section Division II-AA quarterfinal game. center_img A pair of Sunkist League teams are on the road in D4AA. They are: Kaiser at St. Margaret’s and Bloomington at Desert Chapel. In girls D2 soccer action today, Canyon is at Redlands and REV is at Don Lugo. In D4, Oxnard is at Apple Valley, Serrano is at Palm Desert, Sultana is at Lompoc Cabrillo and Granite Hills is at Cathedral City. Holding county hopes in D5 girls soccer is Big Bear, which is hosting Maranatha. In D6, Arrowhead Christian is at St. Matthias. Finally, in D5 girls water polo, Murrieta Valley is taking on Yucaipa at 5 p.m. at Redlands East Valley and Redlands is at Temescal Canyon.
