Costigan’s performance superb

first_imgPNG Kumuls captain and Hull Kingston Rovers player Neville Costigan this week put on another all-action performance to help his team secure a draw with Salford Red Devils in the English super league.Costigan was at the heart of another strong forward effort and crossed the line for a well-deserved second-half try which at one point looked to have won the game for Rovers, until Salford drew level late in the game.Costigan’s efforts have helped to keep Hull KR firmly in the hunt for a play-off with arch-rivals Hull FC in the next game.In other English super league news, former Kumul now turned coach, Stanley Gene helped his team Gateshead Thunder to another victory over London Skolars 24-16 yesterday.Gene’s team, the Gateshead Thunder , play in the semi-professional third tier of the English rugby league competition.Gene is also an assistant coach with the Hull Kingston Rovers where he assists head coach Craig Sandercock.last_img read more
